About Julia
Julia Brehm is a speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA). She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder, with a Bachelor of Arts in both speech, language, and hearing sciences and psychology. After graduation, she earned her post-baccalaureate speech-language pathology asssistant certification from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and began her career in this field.

During her time throughout her undergraudate degree, Julia held multiple leadership roles, including serving as president of her Delta Gamma sorority, where she supported individuals with visual impairments and worked closely with Boulder Guide Dogs. She also worked as a behavioral technician in a behavioral health clinic, gaining valuable hands-on experience working with clients across multiple diagnoses.

After graduation, Julia worked as an speech-language pathology assistant and paraprofessional in a Colorado public high school. There, she developed a strong passion for supporting students with significant support needs and autism, particularly focusing on improving pragmatic language development.
​
Julia began her master’s program in speech-language pathology at Metropolitan State University of Denver in June 2025. She is excited to continue exploring the field and discovering the specific area she feels most called to.
Outside of work, Julia enjoys perfecting her sourdough bread recipe, spending time with her family, and watching hummingbirds in her backyard. Go Buffs!
