About Julia

Julia Frichter is a certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) at Blossoming Minds Therapy. She earned her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from New College of Florida, where she wrote her senior thesis exploring linguistic rights and language dynamics in public schools across the United States. She later continued her education at Metropolitan State University of Denver, where she earned her SLPA certification.

Julia has spent much of her career working with children in a variety of settings, including providing academic support for students of all ages in English and math, working as a Montessori teacher, and supporting autistic children as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). It was through her work as an RBT that she was introduced to the field of speech-language pathology. Inspired by the speech-language pathologists she worked alongside, Julia recognized that the field brought together two of her greatest interests: working with children and linguistics.

As an SLPA, Julia draws on her diverse experiences working with children, her background in linguistics and anthropology, and her firsthand experience supporting children with disabilities to bring a thoughtful and individualized perspective to her work. She has a natural ability to connect with children and enjoys helping them build confidence and develop their speech and language skills in a supportive and engaging environment.

Outside of Blossoming Minds Therapy, Julia enjoys snowboarding during the winter, gardening in the summer, and reading year-round.
