Comprehensive Evaluations
At Blossoming Minds Therapy, we believe that no two brains and no two profiles are the same, so no two evaluation trajectories should be either.
We provide individualized, comprehensive evaluations and interventions that examine the interconnected areas of speech, language, literacy, and academics to identify both speech-language needs and possible language-based learning disabilities, to best support each child’s evolving needs over time.

Speech Evaluations
A speech evaluation assesses a child’s articulation, speech sound production, fluency, and/or overall speech intelligibility to determine how effectively they are able to communicate verbally.

Language Evaluations
A language evaluation examines a child’s understanding and use of language, including vocabulary, comprehension, expressive language, social communication, and higher-level language skills that support learning and interaction. These can include the use of language across modalities, such as for reading and writing.

Academic Evaluations
An academic evaluation assesses foundational learning skills such as reading, writing, spelling, and mathematics to identify strengths, areas of difficulty, and potential learning differences impacting academic performance.

Comprehensive Speech, Language, & Educational Evaluations
A comprehensive evaluation integrates speech, language, literacy, cognitive-linguistic, and academic assessment to provide a holistic understanding of a child’s full learning profile and identify underlying language challenges that may be resulting in language-based learning disabilities or related academic challenges.
